The Inclusiveness Initiatives Fund was established following a recommendation of the report of the Presidential Commission on Diverse Community (DCC report). It is designed to support innovation around the objectives of the DCC report, and particularly to enhance "the role diversity plays in our work environment, our community, and specially in the curricular and co-curricular dimensions of our students' education."
All members of the community - students, staff, and faculty - are invited to submit proposals for funding. Proposals are reviewed twice each semester (for projects scheduled for current semester or the next semester).
Detailed information about review criteria and submitting proposals can be found on the next page.
In the past, the IIF sub-committee has accepted and approved proposals for smaller amounts, less than $500, on a rolling basis. In an effort to be more equitable to all applicants, the sub-committee has increased the annual deadlines for proposal applications from once a semester to twice a semester and will no longer be accepting applications on a rolling basis. You are welcome to view past rolling fund awards.
