Zak Champagne

Zak Champagne taught Grades 3-6 students in Jacksonville for 13 years. He also worked for six years as an Assistant in Research at FCR-STEM at Florida State University. He is currently the Director of Teacher Leadership at the Jacksonville Public Education Fund.

Champagne was named the 2010 Duval County Teacher of the Year and a finalist for the Florida Teacher of the Year. He was also honored as the 2006 recipient of the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching. Champagne is the immediate Past-President of FCTM, and is privileged to work with students and teachers across the country.
