Professor Claudia Goldin is one of the foremost women economists in the country with a focus on labor and economic history. She has concentrated much of her recent work on the economic role of women and families in the economy. Professor Goldin is the Henry Lee Professor of Economics at Harvard University and director of the Development of the American Economy program of the National Bureau of Economic Research.
