Customer Service Program Description
How you treat clients, patients, customers or constituents can make the difference between positive, loyal, long-term relationships and dissatisfaction that, through word-of-mouth, negatively impacts your organization. For this reason, employers of all kinds list customer service as being a top skill area they seek when hiring new staff.
This training will cover topics such as empathy, active listening, projecting confidence, going the extra mile, patience, communication clarity, sensitive follow-through and more. Join us to develop skills that will help you excel in your student job, internships and beyond. Ask your MHC supervisor about getting paid to attend.
Professionalism Program Description
Throughout our working lives, most of us will have many different jobs, each requiring a different level or set of skills. No matter the industry—from customer service to health care to arts management—all of these jobs have one thing in common: in order to succeed and move ahead, you need to demonstrate professionalism.
Professionalism does not mean wearing a suit or carrying a briefcase; rather, it means conducting oneself with responsibility, integrity, accountability, and excellence. Join us to develop skills that will help you excel in your student job, internships and beyond. Ask your MHC supervisor about getting paid to attend.
Who Should Attend
Students who have not yet received robust training on the topic.
If you would like to attend this training but are unable to do so due to scheduling conflicts, please let us know. If there is a large group of students in this situation, we will offer the training again.
