Global-Local POSTPONED

Talking About Teaching Lunch

with Serin Houston (Assistant Professor of Geography & International Relations), Lynn Morgan (Professor and Chair of Sociology & Anthropology), and Kirk Lange (Director of International Experiential Learning).

The Global-Local Initiative fosters student understanding of the interrelationships between the global and local- how processes are expressed and made meaningful at multiple scales and how individuals and communities are affected by and participants in global and local processes and systems. The lunch conversation will focus (a) on curricular possibilities to integrate global-local into the classroom and (b) on scaffolding for experiences that enable our students to make sense of their curricular and co-curricular learning across different sites, domestically and abroad.
