Annual Eid Celebration

The MHC Muslim Student Association presents the Annual Eid Celebration. This year's honorable speaker is Haroon Moghul, author of How to be a Muslim: An American Story. Free and open to all. 

Come and join us for the Annual Eid Celebration! Food catered by Priya's is free for students with ID and available for purchase for the public. Mehndi/Henna will also be available ($5/hand) along with a booth for scarves (prices vary). Odyssey Bookshop will have Mr. Moghul's book available for purchase.

Haroon Moghul

Haroon Moghul is a Senior Fellow and Director of Development at the Center for Global Policy, and the Muslim Leadership Initiative Facilitator at the Shalom Hartman Institute. He has appeared on all major media networks and his essays and reviews have been published in the Washington Post, TIME, CNN, Guardian and Al Jazeera English.  He's the author of a novel, The Order of Light, and new memoir, How to be a Muslim: An American Story. He has an M.A. from Columbia University in Middle Eastern, South Asian and African Studies.
