“Cultivating Students’ Social Justice Thinking: A Pedagogy for Critical Consciousness.”
The curriculum and pedagogy of many college social justice programs are built around bridging critical consciousness to transformative action. The goal is to help "students
how to see the things they are socialized not to see and how to do the things they are socialized not to do.” In this workshop, Dr. Gorski shares some of the
activities and strategies he has used to cultivate that critical consciousness and bridge it to conversations about transformative action.
