Graduation Invitation letter
Please note that this request is only available for immediate family members: grandparents, parents, siblings, and aunts/uncles.
Include each family member’s name exactly as you would like it to appear on the letter. This should match their names as written in their passports.
Review and verify that the information provided below is complete and accurate prior to submitting your request. Incomplete requests will face processing delays. We will notify you by email when the letter is ready. Please allow 2-3 business days for your letter(s) to be ready.
Information from the Department of State about invitation letters: Visa applicants must qualify on the basis of the applicant's residence and ties abroad, rather than assurances from U.S. family and friends. A letter of invitation is not needed to apply for a nonimmigrant tourist visa. If you do choose to bring a letter of invitation to your interview, please remember that it is not one of the factors that they use in determining whether to issue or deny a nonimmigrant tourist visa.
For students completing in May, we will not be able to provide the letters until the start of the spring semester. Please hold off on submitting your requests until then as we will not process them.
