International Student Organizing Committee (ISOC)

Members of ISOC organize special events with an international focus, such as the annual Global Fest, that take place throughout the year. Some of these events include discussions about what it is like to be an international student in the U.S., as well as conversations and networking workshops with international alumnae. They also help plan, facilitate and carry out fall and spring orientation for new international students.
Committee members are required to return to campus a few days before fall and spring orientation officially begin. If you are chosen to be on ISOC, you will normally continue as a committee member until you graduate.We especially encourage first-year international students to apply!
Since current ISOC members will conduct a "group interview" for all applicants, you must be on campus when you apply for membership on the committee. Also, we cannot consider any rising seniors (current juniors) for membership on ISOC. After you apply to be on ISOC, you will be contacted about the group interview, which will like take place after March Break. If you are chosen to be on ISOC, you will normally continue as a member of the committee until you graduate.
