Thế Giới, Vietnam's foreign language publishing house, was established in 1957 to introduce readers around the world to Vietnam through publications in English, French, Chinese, Spanish, Russian, German, Japanese and Esperanto. It also publishes bilingual books and books in Vietnamese. The English Department at the publishing house includes seven Vietnamese editors and four foreign editors.
The selected intern will edit publications translated into English, and potentially offer writing workshops to non-native English-speaking staff at Thế Giới’s English Department.
This is an excellent learning opportunity for a student with an interest in Southeast Asia, publishing, and cross-cultural communication.
