China Radio International (CRI) is the only overseas broadcaster in the People's Republic of China and broadcasts in 59 languages. With a focus on promoting understanding between the people of China and people throughout the world, CRI's programs include news, current affairs, and features on politics, the economy, culture, science and technology.
The intern will be placed in CRI’s English Service and will be involved in working on several weekday magazine shows, such as “China Drive”, “China Now”, or “Today”. The intern will conduct interviews in English or Chinese (depending on Chinese language skills).
While it is helpful for the intern to have advanced Chinese language skills, CRI will also accept students with beginning to intermediate Chinese.
The intern should have excellent interpersonal skills and a strong sense of initiative. This is an excellent opportunity for a student who may be interested in working for CRI after graduation.
