Student Conference Support
The McCulloch Center offers limited support for student conference presentations on international issues. Students must be enrolled at the time of conference presentation. We fund up to 80 percent of the request (maximum $1,000 domestically and $1,200 internationally); reimbursement upon submission of receipts and reflection essay.
To apply for financial support
- Submit on-line application, including an essay (1-2 pages) and a detailed budget request.
- Request a letter of recommendation from a faculty member who can speak to the application essay and the academic value of the conference for your research. They should submit the letter to Jenny Medina.

Students who receive funding must submit a reflective essay (2-3 pages) within two weeks after returning from the conference. We also strongly encourage students to share their experience in a public forum (e.g. a department brown-bag luncheon, student org meeting).
