After graduating from the MAT program in 2013, Kendra took it easy for a few months, working her long-time restaurant job and enjoying her first year of marriage to her husband, Matthew. She briefly taught for the Massachusetts Department of Youth Services as a history and science teacher in juvenile delinquent residential lock-down facilities—a job which she loved wholeheartedly.
There are a lot more cows, Amish buggies and Trump bumper stickers in Ohio than in New England, but Kendra is learning to adapt and adjust to her new surroundings! She recently started at Ashland University in the Doctoral of Education and Administrative Leadership program and hopes to teach at the University in the fall. Kendra hopes to be Dr. Wisdom by 2019!
