The Office of Health Education works to support student's academic success by promoting healthy lifestyles and preventing disease. We focus on educating and empowering students to making healthy life choices. We offer information and support on a wide variety of health topics, act as a resource for the community and coordinate student organizations interested in health related issues.
No appointments are necessary. The Office of Health Education is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 am – 5 pm.

Services Workshops and Trainings
A wide range of educational programs are available to students and staff on such topics as alcohol and other drugs; eating disorders and body image; sexuality and safer sex; sexual assault prevention; stress management; and HIV/AIDS.
An array of health-related pamphlets, videos, books, and Web-based materials are available to students and the College community. Many materials have a specific focus on women’s health.
Liaison and Resource to the Community
Consultation and referral information on health issues and services is available to students, staff, and faculty. Technical assistance and coordination is provided to student organizations educating the campus about health-related issues.
Graduate Internship Program
Graduate students in public health or other related fields are hired and utilized (15 hours per week) to coordinate some of the peer education groups and other campus activities.
