Student Health Advisory Committee (SHAC)

What is it?  SHAC is a five member Student Government Association (SGA) committee. Two of the terms are for two years with the remaining three terms for one year. In addition, there are three "at-large" members for a total of 8 eight members.

What is the purpose?  The purpose of this committee is to work closely with the College Health Services to provide guidance, advice, and feedback on the most effective approaches to providing health services to the students of Mount Holyoke College. In addition, this committee will assist the Health Educator in providing educational information and activities to the campus a variety of topics as needed.

Pet-a-Pet

Pet-a-Pet is an event sponsored by SHAC twice a semester where local therapy dogs are invited to campus as a way for students to de-stress.
