Health, Dental, Life, and Long-Term Disability
May 1st to May 31st - Changes take effect July 1.

Employees may drop or change coverage for  health, dental, life and long-term disability benefits during the annual open enrollment. Employees who do not initiate a change during open enrollment for optional health, dental, life or long-term disability insurance will automatically continue their coverage as is into the next plan year.

Flexible Spending Accounts
November 1st to November 30th - Changes take effect for January 1st of the upcoming calendar year.

Every year employees may elect to participate in the Flexible Spending Accounts - Medical and/or Dependent Care Accounts during the annual open enrollment.  This plan runs by calendar year, and employees must elect to participate every year.  If employees do not elect to participate during the open enrollment period, they are not eligible to participate for the upcoming calendar year.

Changes Due to Change in Family Status

In addition to changes permitted during open enrollment, an eligible employee may change health, dental and life insurance coverage, and the Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) within 31 days of the changes in family status.
