Campus Social and Cultural Events

As a staff member at the College, you are welcome to participate in the many extracurricular activities and cultural opportunities which enrich the lives of all members of the College community.

An important aspect of life at Mount Holyoke College is the diverse number of "extras" on the College calendar - lectures, concerts, exhibitions, conferences, convocations. The Warbeke Concerts, a separate series of fine chamber music concerts, is available free of charge. Friends of Art, the membership organization of the Art Museum, supports a program of distinguished exhibitions as well as a student lending collection and special events such as lectures, gallery talks, museum trips, and concerts. The Theatre department presents a regular schedule of productions during the academic year. "Something Every Friday," a series of contemporary entertainment events, is open to faculty and staff as well as students.

In addition there are numerous performances of the Five College Orchestra, chamber ensembles, dance groups, theatre productions, and an extremely active choral program. A concert choir and glee club perform both on and off-campus.

The MHC News and Events publish information about these events.
