The campus smoking policy prohibits smoking in all buildings, including private offices. There is also no smoking in Blanchard Campus Center.
All residence halls are completely smoke-free spaces. No smoking should take place in any space in these buildings. This includes, but is not limited to, student rooms, lounge spaces, bathrooms, balconies, porches. Smoking is not permitted within 20 feet of all campus buildings.
Cigarette receptacles have been installed at the major entrances to all campus buildings. Signs have also been placed at the entrances to all buildings indicating that smoking is prohibited in all areas of the building.
Please be attentive to the overall appearance of the campus when disposing of smoking materials before entering campus buildings.
It is the responsibility of each member of the Mount Holyoke College community to comply with the provisions of the Smoking Policy. Individuals who have questions or concerns about the Smoking Policy may contact the Human Resources Department or the Dean of Students’ Office.
