Counseling Service Survey
In Fall 2011, Mount Holyoke's Counseling Service, in consultation with the Office of Institutional Research, conducted an on-line survey of the student body, now called the Counseling Service Survey. This survey was designed to assess the mental health needs of the student body and how the Counseling Service could best address those needs. In addition, the survey examined students' utilization of the Counseling Service and other resources as well as their satisfaction with these sources of help and the associated outcomes. The survey also solicited information to better understand the experience of students who have thus far chosen not to utilize the Counseling Service. Another goal of the survey was to gather data on the overall campus climate for students with emotional concerns and what campus resources students feel most comfortable using.
