Students are required to enroll in COLL 211: Tying It All Together
This course is for students returning from summer internships and research projects and must be taken if you plan to present at the LEAP Symposium. You will develop critical analysis of your summer experience and its larger organizational setting, identify and discuss transferable skills, develop networks for future opportunities, and reflect on long-term career goals.
COLL 211 is a 2-credit course, half-semester course. Register on MyMountHolyoke April 7–19 or August 28–September 17 (required for the Nexus minor but open to all students). Every student wishing to present at the LEAP Symposium must enroll in the course and attend all sessions. If you have already taken COLL 211 but want to present at LEAP, you will need to attend the first three class sessions in order to form panels. For more information, email firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com
Students will fill out an "Experience Summary" form and network with other students to form panels based on similar themes. Panels will write an abstract which will be publicized prior to the Symposium and each student in the panel will write a very short autobiography.
