I am the library and technology liaison to Astronomy, Biology, Biochemistry, Neuroscience and Behavior, and Physics.

  • Choosing and refining a topic

Faculty, I can help you with: 

  • Moodle
  • Classroom technologies such as interactive whiteboards, audience response systems (clickers), videoconferencing
  • Providing appropriate research skills instruction in your courses and to your independent study students, including in-class library instruction, research guides, and one-on-one research consultations. 
  • Bioinformatics and NCBI databases
  • Data management plans for research grants and planning for the preservation of research data.

Sarah joined the Research & Instructional Support team in 2005. She has organized Wikipedia edit-a-thons in LITS, and helped to produce the "Harry Potter’s World: Renaissance Science, Magic, and Medicine" exhibit that visited LITS in 2010, and has sung in various Five Colleges musical ensembles. She is interested in depictions of science and technology in media, in street art, and in maker culture.
