Language Mentors

Language mentors hold "Language Q&A" hours at the LRC each week, for each of the languages taught at Mount Holyoke College (if the department chooses to participate in the Q&A program). Mentors must meet the language department's criteria for language proficiency, and they participate in training sessions at the start of each semester as well as ongoing, guided reflection/exploration/study activities to further develop their mentoring and language tutoring skills.

If you're interested in becoming a language mentor, you can check our current position openings in JobX. Positions are generally posted toward the end of spring semester for the following academic year although there are occasionally midyear openings.
