Coaster Creation Workshop
Come use the equipment in the Makerspace to engrave Mount Holyoke images onto your own personalized glass coasters. Take a piece of Mount Holyoke with you and avoid ruining your wooden furniture at the same time! This workshop will be conducted by one of our Makerspace student staff, Katie Kelso.
Learn the basics of how to get started with Arduino based projects. Arduino is a cheap, open source microcontroller designed for DIY projects ranging from blinking LEDs on clothing to robotics. It is a great way to demystify technology and learn the basics of programming and building circuits through hands-on activities. This introductory workshop is open to those with or without a programming background.
Learn the basics of circuitry and Arduino (an open source microcontroller) as you create a robot that follows other robots around. No experience is necessary and all are welcome to join! This workshop will be conducted by one of our Makerspace student staff, Sage Mahannah.
