Bringing the Global Food Crisis to Campus

As the 2010 Carol Hoffmann Collins Global-Scholar-in-Residence, food security and food production activist Peter Rosset spent October 25 to October 28 on the Mount Holyoke campus meeting with students, faculty, and members of the local community in a variety of settings, including classroom conversations and a public lecture. Rosset took a short break from his packed schedule to talk to the Office of Communications about his work, and his Global Scholar-in-Residence experience.

Through the scholar program, the McCulloch Center for Global Initiatives annually brings an internationally renowned expert who is focused on an issue of critical global importance to campus.
