Mass. Media Lauds Elizabeth Scheibel '77
Elizabeth Scheibel '77, who just stepped down as the northwestern district attorney for Massachusetts, is earning media recognition for her efforts while in office.
The Boston Globe has named Scheibel one of the "Bostonians of the Year" for her prosecution work on the Phoebe Prince case. Prince, a local high student, committed suicide last year because, investigators say, she was the target of bullying.
The Republican also recently looked back at Scheibel's 17 years as northwestern DA.
