Since 2000, Mount Holyoke choral alumnae have gotten together for a reunion on campus and two international trips. This week will see their second campus reunion. In all, 103 singers from the classes of 1938 to 2012, from both this country and from Sweden and Germany, will come together for three days of rehearsals and a final concert, billed as "How Can I Keep from Singing? The Sequel." If you have enjoyed Mount Holyoke concerts in the past, we hope you will join us Saturday evening, January 24, at 7:30 pm in Abbey Chapel to hear music of Schubert, Porpora, Boulanger, Chen Yi, Szymko, Hopkins, Alben, Hatfield, Walker, and Stotts, as well as a jazz piece arranged by director Mark Gionfriddo. The concert will also feature faculty soloists Cheryl Cobb and Melinda Spratlan.
Join us for an evening of excellent choral music and enjoy hearing current students as well as alumnae who have continued to keep singing after college.
The concert is free and open to the public. Handicapped access is available.
