The Mount Holyoke College Chorale will present its Spring Concert on Friday evening, April 25, at Abbey Memorial Chapel. The concert starts at 8 pm; doors open at 7:40 pm.
The chorale invites the public to come and enjoy an hour of sacred music and prepare to be moved by the powerful interweaving of light and dark musical textures. Featured works include Gabriel Fauré's ethereal Messe Basse and J. A. Hasse's dramatic Miserere. Conducted by Kimberly Dunn Adams, the concert also will highlight the talents of College organist Larry Schipull and faculty soloist Cheryl Cobb.
The event is free and open to the public; no tickets are required. For more information, call Kimberly Dunn Adams at 413-538-2018.
