Beginning January 2 and continuing through January 17, Mount Holyoke Professional and Graduate Education will offer six college-level courses, five of which will earn enrollees academic credit during the College’s January break.
The courses are designed for professional development and personal enrichment, and they are open to students from Mount Holyoke and other colleges, as well as other adults over the age of 18. They will be taught by members of MHC’s outstanding faculty and guest instructors with professional expertise.
The for-credit courses include: Bollywood Cinema; Speaking with Confidence: Leadership for Women; Knowledge Management; Psychology of Spirituality and Religion; and Media Archaeology, Digital Humanities, and the Archives. The sixth course, Understanding Your Digital SLR and Basic Digital Photography, does not offer credit. None of the courses have prerequisites.
All classes will be held on the Mount Holyoke College campus. The online application system for Professional and Graduate Education courses allows applicants to complete registration easily with several payment options. Course fees range from $150 to $600. Mount Holyoke students who register for a January Extension course may apply to live on campus during this period.
Mount Holyoke Professional and Graduate Education also offers for-credit courses during two summer sessions: May 27 through July 2 and July 8 through August 13.
