Naomi Darling, Five College Assistant Professor of Sustainable Architecture, won an American Institute of Architecture Western Mass. chapter merit award for the Kernan Photo Studio. Naomi Darling Architecture and RK Studios won the design competition for the Amherst Green BID Bandshell Competition. Maya Gamble ’18 worked with the team on project drawings and Sanjay Arwade of UMass Amherst’s civil engineering was a consultant structural engineer.
