Says You! is a witty word game that originated from WGBH Radio Boston. Recorded in front of live audiences at various locations, Says You! features six panelists, divided into two teams of three, that bluff, guess, and expound their way through a fast-paced, 30-minute program. Host/producer Richard Sher and the panelists have a friendly intimacy that invites listeners to play and laugh along.
Says You! panelists included host Richard Sher, public radio personality Tony Kahn, television producer/writer Arnie Reisman, broadcaster and communications consultant Paula Lyons, arts and culture activist Francine Achbar, actor Tom Kemp, and columnist/critic Carolyn Faye Fox. Musical guests were the Mount Holyoke College Big Band under the direction of Mark Gionfriddo.
Says You! is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year; the tapings at Chapin Auditorium were part of WFCR's 45th Anniversary celebrations, and made possible by Merriam-Webster, Mount Holyoke College, and the Valley Advocate.
