May 2, 2006 - Senior attacker Caitlin Taylor and first-year midfielder Marika Austin were voted NEWMAC All-Conference First Team and junior defender Lisa Roberts was named All-Conference Second Team by the league coaches at their postseason meeting.

Taylor led Mount Holyoke and the NEWMAC in goals, assists, and points throughout most of the season. She ended the year with 59 goals, 47 assists, and 106 points to place her first in the school record books for assists in a season and points in a season, and second for goals in a season, as she was seven goals shy of her 66-goal performance last year. Taylor finishes her career as the all-time leader in goals (181), assists (123), points (304), and draw controls (98).

Austin was second on the team in scoring, tallying 51 goals and 17 assists for 68 total points. She also led the Lyons and the NEWMAC in ground balls (65), caused turnovers (53), and draw controls (52). She ranks first in the MHC records for caused turnovers in a season, fourth for goals in a season and fifth for points in a season.

Roberts proved to be a defensive threat throughout the season, limiting her opponent's scoring opportunities. She amassed 63 ground balls and 49 caused turnovers, ranking her third in each NEWMAC category. As a junior, Roberts is already Mount Holyoke's career leader in caused turnovers with a current total of 128.
