Two MHC Alumnae and Head Coach Make Basketball All-Star Team

March 16, 2006 - Basketball players Jessica Justice '03, Elise Cromack Wright '87, and current Head Coach Michelle Scecina (Springfield '97) were named to the local Division III All-Star Team by The Republican newspaper. Justice who remains the all-time scoring leader at MHC with 1,533 points, was named to the First Team, while Cromack and Scecina received Second Team accolades.

In addition to total points scored, Justice is ranked first in the career record books for points per game (15.5), field goals (606), field goal percentage (60.0), and free throws (320). Cromack Wright is the all-time leader in blocked shots with 302, and is second in scoring (1,106), field goal percentage (56.9), and rebounds (907).

Head Coach Michelle Scecina played for Springfield College and spent two years at the Div. II level and two years at Div. III. She amassed 1,109 points and 1,007 rebounds in her four-year career.
