Worldwatch Institute - Washington D.C.
This summer I worked as a Research Intern for the Nourishing the Planet Project in Washington D.C. I covered topics of U.S. and global food policies, innovations of the week, op-eds in international newspapers and other exciting Environmental justice topics. D.C. was a wonderful place to spend my summer, filled with your driven intellectuals from all over the world. I was grateful to the Miller Worley Center for enabling me to gain exposure into the world of think tanks and non-profits, it has shaped my own view of my career aspirations.
I finally got to see what it meant to work at a think-tank. D.C proved to be a city full of young, driven intellectuals; it was quite different from my other experiences. My intern team was awesome.
