I was able to spend three months of my summer working as a Food and Agriculture Research Intern at Worldwatch where I enjoyed working on issues of food justice, sustainability, and gender equity in rural and agricultural development. I was published numerous times in the “Nourishing the Planet” project’s blog (of the same name) and in one of Worldwatch’s annual flagship publications, “Vital Signs”. My experience at Worldwatch has seen my interpersonal, professional, and writing skills mature immensely, a development that, I am sure, I will benefit from for many years to come.
