Worldwatch Institute - Washington, DC
Double Major: Politics and Economics
My internship this summer was a great learning experience and allowed me to work independently and on global issues that are significant to all individuals. I spent a majority of the internship analyzing figures and doing data computation on Excel, which ties in with my Economics major. I analyzed raw figures from International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA) for the education trend and did research and report writing for the air travel trend. This internship also gave me a firsthand experience about working at a think-tank in the capital city, which will enrich my coursework in Politics, in which I am double majoring. I also got a chance to further improve my knowledge, communication and writing skills, which will benefit me in my future career at policymaking.
