I am a Psychology major and thinking about minoring in many different things, one of them being definitely Environmental Studies. I was involved in my previous school with a department that was also very environmentally engaged. We happened to host Anna Lappé a couple of months before she came to MHC. When I transferred here in the fall of 2010 and saw the fliers around campus, this looked like home and I knew that the Center for the Environment was where I wanted to work. Since I am a soul of multiple interests, the Center helps me to connect my interests through the environment with everything possible. Learning about the environment doesn’t limit my choices but allows me to study it throughout different fields such as art, history or psychology. This is why the Center is the perfect fit for me, even though I am not an Environmental Studies major.
