Anita Naidu Pawaskar
Anita Pawaskar is a radio host for a national weekend breakfast show on 94.3 Radio One that airs in Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore. She also is Radio One’s programming head and developed the international format for their Mumbai and Delhi stations.
Pawaskar has worked in the broadcast industry for more than 17 years. Prior to joining Radio One, Pawaskar curated a content management system for 32 stations for Radio Mirchi and was their creative director for creative solutions for business development and private treaties. She was also head of creative content, ideas and production for the Technology Media Group.
In addition to creating and curating content, Pawaskar works as a media trainer, a consultant and an educator, with a particular interest in children’s educational programming. Pawaskar has volunteered and taught children to create their own radio station under Teach For India.
As an Indian representative for “media for social change” at the U.S. Embassy, Pawaskar was nominated for the honorary International Visitors Leadership Program by the U.S. Department of State.
