Marcia Brumit Kropf ’67

Marcia Brumit Kropf, Principal at Marcia Brumit Kropf LLC, engages in interesting and challenging opportunities that build on the skills and expertise developed in her career in the non-profit sector, as an educator, researcher, and senior executive, especially those that involve changing the world for women and girls.  Recent clients include the Children’s Arts Guild, Girls Inc., Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, and Women in Sports and Events (WISE).

Dr. Kropf serves as President of the Alumnae Association of Mount Holyoke College, and served for eight years as the Chief Operating Officer of Girls Incorporated., the nonprofit organization that inspires all girls to be strong, smart, and bold. Dr. Kropf also spent 12 years at Catalyst, the premier nonprofit research and advisory organization working to advance women in business. Dr. Kropf earned her B.A. from Mount Holyoke College, a Master of Arts in Teaching from Oberlin College, a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Reading Education from Syracuse University, and a Ph.D. in Educational Communication and Technology from New York University.
