Radhika Piramal

Radhika Piramal has been the managing director of VIP Industries Limited, India’s number one luggage brand, since May 2010. Prior to this role, Piramal worked in various sales and marketing roles at VIP Industries from 2000 to 2004, and with Bain & Company in New York as a management consultant from 2006 to 2008. Piramal is credited with revitalizing VIP Industries through several brand launches. She relaunched Skybags as a youth brand in 2011; expanded from luggage to handbags by launching Caprese handbags in 2012; and launched Carlton luggage, which is aimed at premium business travellers, in 2014.

In 2015, Piramal was named to the Economic Times list of “India’s 40 under 40 Business Leaders” and to Business Today’s “Top 25 Powerful Women in India.” She has a bachelor’s degree from Brasenose College, University of Oxford, and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. Piramal is married and lives in Mumbai, India.
