Mount Holyoke students are encouraged to work with the Community Based Learning program to advance special project initiatives, develop public partnership events, and pursue advanced learning or service projects based on the partnership work they launch with area community organizations.
Examples of such work might include;
- Hosting social justice oriented workshops
- Hosting an issue-oriented event
- Advanced study of a community-based research project
- Attending a training or conference relevant to your project or organization's mission
- Designing a community engagement or social justice independent study project
Such projects may seek advice, financial support, or academic supervision or co-supervision from Alan Bloomgarden, CBL Program Director. Please contact Alan at email@example.com with a brief summary of your project, any relevant materials (websites, flyers, brochure, and conference info). If your request includes financial support you must also send a budget/expense outline.
