Latina Feminism (LATST-330/GNDST-333EE)
Instructor: Vanessa Rosa
What is Latina Feminism? How does it differ from and/or intersect with other feminisms?
In this seminar, we will look at the relationship between Latina feminism, activism, and communities as a way to understand the history of Latina theory in the United States. In the classroom, students will be responsible for leading class discussion to sharpen critical reading and analytical skills.
Outside of the classroom, students will engage in Community Based Learning projects to make connections between theory and practice.
