Hello! My name is Erin Carberry and I am a Film Studies and English double major. Before coming to Mount Holyoke, I earned my Associate of Arts in Screenwriting and worked as an assistant in the Cornell Broadcast Studio. Though I initially focused myself on production, I have since discovered my true passion for film analysis, critique, and scholarship. Now, I pour over seminar papers and work as a staff writer for the Arts & Entertainment section of the Mount Holyoke News. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions you may have about the Film Studies major, classes within the department, or anything else!

I am a Film Studies major here at MHC; my interests are mainly in Video Production and Editing. My favorite film genre to view and work in is Sci-Fi. I have produced several of my own short films since beginning my studies at Mount Holyoke, one of those being a sci-fi narrative titled This Is Not About Aliens. Also note: my hair and glasses change about as often as the weather.
