Internships provide powerful learning laboratories where majors can apply their economics or business knowledge and explore career possibilities.
Students are encouraged to explore internships, independent research, and summer research possibilities with their Economics advisor or the Career Development Center. Summer opportunities generally require planning well in advance. The fall semester is not too early to begin exploring summer options:
- Mount Holyoke’s Lynk-UAF will fund every student once for a qualified domestic (US) or international internship.
- Lynk-UAF funds are also available for independent research, as are a number of funding sources in the Economics Department.
The Career Development Center (CDC) introduces you to internship search strategies, walks you through the Lynk-UAF application process, and connects you to internship databases and MHC curated internships at the Miller Worley Center for the Environment and Weissmann Center for Leadership.
