The map shows Mount Holyoke College near the intersection of routes 47 and 116 in South Hadley, Massachusetts. Interstate 91 and the Connecticut River run north-south to the west of campus. The towns of Amherst and Hadley are to the north, Northampton is to the northwest, Holyoke is to the southwest, and Granby is to the east. Hartford, Connecticut, lies to the south along Interstate 91, and Boston is to the east on Interstate 90 (Massachusetts Turnpike).
