Art@Work Now is your chance to participate in one of the greatest staff experiences at Mount Holyoke! Wish You Were Here, the second annual Art@Work staff exhibit, will run December 1–12 in the Marion Craig Potter ’49 Atrium of Kendade Hall. The registration deadline is October 31. Flu (Influenza) Vaccine Available at Health Center The MHC Health Center is now booking appointments for the flu vaccine to be administered on Friday, October 24, and Friday, November 7. The cost is $15. Please call the Health Center at x2121 to make your appointment. There are limited amounts of the vaccine available, so call as soon as possible. The Massachusetts Department of Public Health recommends that the following groups of people receive the vaccine: people over 50 years old; those with heart disease, cystic fibrosis, asthma, lung disease, diabetes, kidney disease, and immune system disorders; or any healthy person (age 5-49) who wants to avoid getting the flu. Memorial Service for Mount Holyoke President David Bicknell Truman
A memorial service for David Bicknell Truman will be held on Monday, October 20, at 4 pm in Abbey Chapel. Mr. Truman served as president of the College from 1969 to 1978. He died on August 28 in Sarasota, Florida, at the age of 90. For more information, please call the Office of the President at 413-538-2500.
