Family Alumnae Choir
Members of the MHC community-students, alumnae, parents, siblings, staff, and faculty-are invited to sing with the MHC orchestra Saturday, October 27. There will be one rehearsal that morning (11 am-12:30 pm) in Abbey Chapel and a performance at the close of the 4 pm concert. Music is "I Vow to Thee My Country," a tune drawn from Gustav Holst's The Planets, with lyrics by Cecil Spring Rice. The piece was authored in response to World War I. Known as Princess Diana's favorite hymn, it was sung at her wedding and funeral.
