Employee Computer Loan Program Extended The computer loan program for College employees will be extended past June 30, 1998. The program going forward will be very similar to the current program except that there will be a four-year interval between loans. See mhc.announce for additional information. If you would like a copy of the full announcement or wish to arrange a computer loan, please contact Michelle Richard in Financial Services.

Academic Prizes Deadline Reminder The deadline for academic prizes to be listed in the commencement program is April 1. We cannot guarantee that information received after April 1 will be included in the program. Please send all awards forms to Marjorie Otterson, Office of Communications. For prizes that are based in part on second semester grades, please contact Marjorie Otterson (x2021, motterso) or Tanya Lane (x2287, tlane) by April 1 to make special arrangements.

Safe Colleges Program for Gay and Lesbian Students The importance of this Governor's Commission program may be judged by the show of support at this weekend's events in Boston. Friday, March 27 there will be a public hearing and project kickoff, including testimonies by students and addresses by officials, at the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, 250 Washington Street, Boston. A conference entitled "Sound Mind, Sound Body, Sound Off" will include a wide variety of panels and will be held at Tufts University on Saturday, March 28 from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. The commission is looking for students interested in offering testimony of their campus experiences, positive or negative.
