Civil Rites Leadership Breakfast:
Words, Thoughts, and Deeds

A roundtable breakfast discussion about the ways in which scholarship and research complement, enable, and transform social activism, politics, and women's organizations. Join us for an engaging conversation with Dr. Mary Hunt, co-founder and co-director of the Women's Alliance for Theology, Ethics, and Ritual (W.A.T.E.R), Professor Katherine Arnup of Carleton University, author of Lesbian Parenting: Living with Pride and Prejudice whose research and writing focuses on motherhood, parenting, and same-sex marriage, and Pedro Julio Serrano of the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force and respected leader in the LGBT movement.
