Asian American Sisters in Action

Mission Statement

Asian American Sisters in Action (AASIA) was formed by several Asian American students of Mount Holyoke College in 1992 to address and bring about awareness affecting Asian Americans. AASIA aims to be politically active, both on and off campus. It serves as a support group and a voice for Asian American women, who as a minority group, are often unheard and overlooked. AASIA also works to strengthen the bonds within the Asian American community, as well as to unite with other groups for students of color and other allies against racism and social and economical injustice.
