We like to do stuff.

Check out the events we’re planning right now.

National Computer Science Week

What computer science is really about? How can it help you in your major?
What does it take to major in computer science?

Join the CS Club and CS Department in the Kendade Atrium and Library on December 5, 6, and 7 for National Computer Science Week as we answer these questions and any others that you may have about the field of computer science.

In the entrance to the Library Atrium and the entrance to the Info Commons, we will be displaying some student projects, such as an interactive piano.

In Kendade, we will be displaying projects created by actual MHC computer science students, including an interactive display, a robotic wheelchair, a rotating protein molecule, a hangman game, a ciphertext encoder/decoder, and more!

Or you can try your hand at solving some of the logic puzzles we’ll have, like the Tower of Hanoi. Winners will be entered in a raffle contest.

Snowflakes: cakes and study breaks

Take a break from classes and join the CS Club for a night of snowflake making, the premiere of a 40” Google TV, and, of course, delicious cupcakes.

To be held in Kendade 307 at 7:00 PM on Monday, 29 Nov. 2010.
